Meta-Tags are little hidden phrases on your web page that help describe it to the search engines and indexes. I'll mention how to construct them below but remember different search engines look at your pages differently. So I usually group some words together and separately:
Each of these phrases would be separated by commas. Obviously if you aren't geographically promoting things you would leave those out but at first people may know you by location.
The code would look like the following:
<meta name="description" content="site description goes here" /> <meta name="keywords" content="phrases/keywords seperated by commas" />
You can put these on every page that is significantly different, but I'd modify them for pages that are different. If you've got different albums/books/etc. then I'd modify the tags for each page. Putting the same tags on every page might lead people to find who knows which page. Different people have different thoughts on how to lay these out; I always put more important words first and separate phrases with commas.
